We capture video using camcorders, pocket \u2018still\u2019 cameras and even phones to make our films. Visitors are always welcome and the first visit is free. Come on the first Friday of each month at 7:45pm to The St Joan\u2019s Centre. No equipment or experience is necessary!  Just come along and have some fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:left\">We run training courses if you need some help and run competitions for those who like want to win awards. The club is a great way to meet new friends with a common interest. You can join a group or film crew or create a production and have people join you. The possibilities are endless and only limited by your imagination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/surreyborder.org.uk\/club\/membership\/contact-us\/\">You can contact us by Clicking Here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-background has-medium-font-size has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-background-color\">Meetings<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:left\">We meet each first Friday of the month in the brand new and very modern St. Joan\u2019s Centre which is beside St Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 19 Tilford Road,Farnham, Surrey GU9 8DJ, just 200 yards South of Farnham Station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/drayers.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Screen-Shot-2015-02-10-at-11.55.58.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-192\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:left\">Directions to us by car<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:left\">From the Farnham Bypass (A31) at traffic lights take the turning for Farnham Station (B3001). NB from Guildford this is a left turn. From the opposite direction there is NO RIGHT TURN, so turn left and turn round etc! Go over the level crossing at Farnham Station. Take the right fork onto Tilford Road. Look out for the second road a short distance up on the right called Alfred Road. Turn left directly opposite this into what looks little more than a gap in the hedge marked after dark by red reflectors. You will find your free car park beside the church a short way down. The St Joan\u2019s Centre is on the far side of the church from the car park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:left\">Sat Nav GU9 8DJ<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-background has-medium-font-size has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-background-color\">The History of Surrey Border Movie Makers\ufeff<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Surrey Border Movie Makers was formed in 1984 by a small group of enthusiasts with film and still cameras (It was too early for any form of digital camera). Their aim was to make movies and tape\/slide productions for their mutual enjoyment and to enter them for competitions in the amateur film movement.
